Susan Connolly

Susan Connolly is from Ireland. She has published three collections of poetry: For the Stranger (Dedalus Press, 1993), Forest Music (Shearsman Books, 2009) and Bridge of the Ford (Shearsman Books, 2016). Bridge of the Ford, a collection of thirty-three visual poems, is a tribute to her home town of Drogheda, Co. Louth. Her essay ‘One Hundred and Six Days: A Visual Poem’ is in the current issue of Trumpet, published by Poetry Ireland. She was awarded the Patrick and Katherine Kavanagh Fellowship in Poetry in 2001. Her most recent publication is What Noise on Earth published by Redfoxpress. It is part of of the C’est mon Dada collection of artists’ books from visual poets around the world.
