The Small Machine Talks loves talking about poetry. We'd love to hear about your favourite poems and poetry works; Here's how you can participate:

The Small Machine Talks Book Club
Wanted:                                 audio recordings in mp3 or mp3 format; text in doc, docx or pdf form.

Content:                                 name, location and a brief talk about a recent poetry read that you enjoyed: chapbook, book, individual poem from an online or print magazine, something else? please provide a link to the book, poem or magazine. 


Time Limit:                           up to ten minutes preferably;

Deadline:                               rolling

Include:                                 in the body of your e-mail, your name and location, title, publisher, year of publication;

Details:                                   from time to time we will have a book club episode where we include the submissions and if we’ve read the work, we will also add our thoughts. if you'd prefer to do a written submission instead of a recorded submission, we can read it aloud on the show. we reserve the right to edit for length.

Bonus:                                    if you’re in Ottawa or are coming to Ottawa and want to talk about the work in person, send your proposal to me and we’ll consider inviting you on the show.

Preference:                            D/deaf and disabled, 2SLGBTQIA, women, BIPOC.


Who can participate?          Anyone who is excited about a poetry work that they’ve read and enjoyed who has access to a recording device that isn’t terrible.
